5 Must-Have Products If Your Travel Often
Posted on
If you find yourself going on a trip — whether it’s for work or pleasure — every so often, you might as well start putting together a travel kit with the most frequently used items. And we are not just talking about a suitcase — things like comfortable headphones, travel size toiletries and a travel pillow can make your trips easier and more comfortable.
Here are our top five product recommendations for frequent travelers. Feel free to add others that you use on most of your trips.
1. Good Quality Luggage + Luggage Organizers
Good quality luggage that will last a lifetime is expensive, but worth it if you plan to make frequent trips. A cheap suitcase will keep breaking and can’t handle more than a few trips before it becomes useless.
Invest in a well sized suitcase that can fit your checked luggage for most trips. Get a smaller carry-on for the items you need to keep with you.
In addition, there are luggage accessories that will make packing and traveling a lot more convenient. They include:
- Packing cubes to organize your items
- Luggage tags and AirTags
- Luggage scale
- Luggage straps
2. Travel Wear
Sure, you can travel with any clothes. But if you are a frequent traveler, it’s worth getting clothes that are travel-friendly. These are clothes that are comfortable, versatile, breathable, quick-drying and don't get dirt easily.
Examples include cargo pants, sweat pants, breathable t-shirts, a lightweight coat or jacket, khakis and more. Our own antimicrobial clothing is perfect for traveling. Our tops, socks and underwear don't get smelly (you can wear them multiple times without washing), they are breathable and they dry quickly.
3. Travel Size Toiletries
Instead of transfering lotion, toothpaste and other accessories into small bottles every time you travel, just get travel size toiletries and save yourself the hassle. You can get a travel size of almost anything including lotions, sunscreen, soap, toothpaste, shaving cream and even fabric freshener.
For the things you can’t find like your special moisturizer, you can get travel bottles for it.
4. Tablet and Other Small Electronics
If you spend a lot of time in planes, trains, cars, and hotel rooms, a tablet is one of the best things you can buy. It’s a big upgrade from a smartphone for traveling thanks to its versatility.
You can watch movies comfortably on a tablet, read books (get a Kindle if you read a lot), and even do some work on the go (you can get a separate keyboard). Combine it with a tablet stand and you are good to go, literally.
Don't forget other small electronics and accessories that you always use on your trips such as a travel adapter, phone charger, power bank and headphones or earbuds.
5. Travel Pillow and Other Comfort Accessories
Finally, invest in your comfort. Traveling a lot can do a number on your body from sitting too much, cramped leg rooms and uncomfortable mattresses. Get items that make your travel and stay as comfortable as possible.
Ideas include a wedge pillow, a neck pillow, a travel blanket, earplugs, eye mask, lip balm and anything else that will make your trips more comfortable.
What Else?
There’s plenty of other stuff you can add to this list depending on your preferences and what you find yourself using often.
Some other items to consider include a reusable water bottle, a face mask to protect yourself especially during flights, a small hand sanitizer, a lightweight laptop if you travel for work, a good backpack or tote bag for use at your destinations and portable electronics like a steamer, iron box, mini fan and more.
If you travel a lot with kids, I could (and probably will) write a whole list of things you should always have like toys, wipes, snack boxes, kids tablet and others.
