Covid-19 Community Assistance
The Covid-19 pandemic has been such a devastating experience for everyone involved, but it's been significantly worse for some more than others. We've been hearing so many heartbreaking stories from all the HercLéon family members, and it's been hard. We've been looking for ways to be of service to the people who are struggling the worst. As a company, we struggled more than ever last year, but we've been donating as much as we can to help people who might be challenged more than us. We wanted to create this page to highlight all the people who have been hit hard by Covid in hopes that maybe other HL family members will donate to their cause.
There's an amazing African proverb that goes, "If you want to go fast, go alone; if you want to go far, go together." This belief is not just talked about; it's how I was raised in Cameroon. I was raised to believe that if you have a sandwich, and someone next to you is hungry, there is no pride in rubbing your sandwich in their face and telling them to work hard to get their own sandwich, rather you should share your sandwich with the person so now you both have the energy to get more food together. In creating this page, we hope that people who read this will find it in their hearts to help others who might be struggling more than ever, so hopefully, one day, those people can be stable enough to help others thanks to the help you provided during their times of need.
